This weekend was a busy one.  My mother-in-law came over to stay for the weekend.  I was also finishing up my final days of puppy school, with my Jack Russell, Emma.  So Saturday morning I took Emma to puppy school.  Which by the way is not her thing.  She is a gem at home.  However, when we are out in public situations where there are that many dog she acts CRAZY.  So after class I came home I made soap for my mother-in-law.  Who from this time forward will be called Nana.  She wanted Sweet Grass Shampoo Bar.  Which has made my house smell very nice.  After the soap I decided to cook up a batch of sugaring that I use to sugar my eyebrows.  I LOVE that stuff!!!  After that I made two loaves of bread and a loaf of banana bread.  I usually like to spend my Saturdays a little more laid back.  But what can you do?
Sugaring recipe
2 cups of white sugar
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of lemon juice
*Add the water and lemon juice o the sugar.
*Bring to a slow boil.
*Once the mixture has come to a boil reduce to a low heat.
*Simmer at a low heat for 25 minutes stirring occasionally.
*The mixture should become a rich amber color.
*After the 25 minutes let the mixture sit for 15 minutes in the pot.
*I keep my sugaring mixture in a small wide mouth mason jar.
I like to heat up the sugaring mixture in the mic for 25 seconds.  Apply with a popsicle stick and use white cotton material cut in strips to remove the unwanted hair.
As a life long waxer I was shocked at how less painful it is to sugar.
So go forward and be hairless!!
This is a good money saver.
