[...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<p  style=" text-align: left; ">I'm so happy to announce that Interlake Green soap is going to be available for sale at the Fishfly Gallery in Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba.&nbsp; For the time being there will be about three different scents available.&nbsp; So if you are out and about at Winnipeg Beach this summer, please check it out!!!<br /><br /></p>]]></content:encoded></item><item><title><![CDATA[First Post!]]></title><link><![CDATA[http://www.interlakegreensoap.com/2/post/2009/03/first-post.html]]></link><comments><![CDATA[http://www.interlakegreensoap.com/2/post/2009/03/first-post.html#comments]]></comments><pubDate>Sun, 01 Mar 2009 19:11:42 +0700</pubDate><category><![CDATA[Uncategorized]]></category><guid isPermaLink="false">http://www.interlakegreensoap.com/2/post/2009/03/first-post.html</guid><description><![CDATA[This weekend was a busy one.&nbsp; My mother-in-law came over to stay for the weekend.&nbsp; I was also finishing up my final days of puppy school, with my Jack Russell, Emma.&nbsp; So Saturday morning I took Emma to puppy school.&nbsp; Which by the way is not her thing.&nbsp; She is a gem at home.&nbsp; However, when we are out in public situations where there are that many dog she acts CRAZY.&nbsp; So after class I came home I made soap for my mother-in-law.&nbs [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<p  style=" text-align: left; ">This weekend was a busy one.&nbsp; My mother-in-law came over to stay for the weekend.&nbsp; I was also finishing up my final days of puppy school, with my Jack Russell, Emma.&nbsp; So Saturday morning I took Emma to puppy school.&nbsp; Which by the way is not her thing.&nbsp; She is a gem at home.&nbsp; However, when we are out in public situations where there are that many dog she acts CRAZY.&nbsp; So after class I came home I made soap for my mother-in-law.&nbsp; Who from this time forward will be called Nana.&nbsp; She wanted Sweet Grass Shampoo Bar.&nbsp; Which has made my house smell very nice.&nbsp; After the soap I decided to cook up a batch of sugaring that I use to sugar my eyebrows.&nbsp; I LOVE that stuff!!!&nbsp; After that I made two loaves of bread and a loaf of banana bread.&nbsp; I usually like to spend my Saturdays a little more laid back.&nbsp; But what can you do?&nbsp; <br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Sugaring recipe </span><br />2 cups of white sugar <br />1/4 cup of water <br />1/4 cup of lemon juice <br />*Add the water and lemon juice o the sugar.<br />*Bring to a slow boil.&nbsp; <br />*Once the mixture has come to a boil reduce to a low heat.&nbsp; <br />*Simmer at a low heat for 25 minutes stirring occasionally.&nbsp; <br />*The mixture should become a rich amber color.&nbsp; <br />*After the 25 minutes let the mixture sit for 15 minutes in the pot.&nbsp; <br />*I keep my sugaring mixture in a small wide mouth mason jar. &nbsp; <br />I like to heat up the sugaring mixture in the mic for 25 seconds.&nbsp; Apply with a popsicle stick and use white cotton material cut in strips to remove the unwanted hair.&nbsp; <br />As a life long waxer I was shocked at how less painful it is to sugar.&nbsp; <br />So go forward and be hairless!!<br />This is a good money saver. &nbsp; &nbsp; <br /></p>]]></content:encoded></item></channel></rss>
