About Us
Interlake Green Soap is located in the small town of Teulon, Manitoba, approximately 30 minutes north of the city of Winnipeg.
I started making soap after I started making changes to our house hold foot print. I wanted to start taking the future of the planet seriously for my young child. So I started using tote bags, environmentally friendly cleaning products, homemade laundry soap, hanging my laundry to dry and making some of our clothes myself. I also believe in the idea of homesteading. Which to me is trying to be a self sufficient as possible. Therefore making my own soap and shampoo fit perfectly into our lives.
I started to share my soap with my family and friends. Once they had used the soap I had given them they came back to buy more.
I love to make soap!! It's exciting, scientific, creative and fun. I hope that you will enjoy our soap as much as I enjoy making it for you.
